Are you our new Technical Manager with Maersk H2S Safety Services in Macaé?
Key Responsibilities
AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY
Is responsible for the working environment in the Macae Base.
Is responsible for ensuring there are sufficient spare parts in stock for the smooth running of the operation. The financial implications of stock keeping should be considered in conjunction with the Senior General Manager.
Is responsible to ensure that all maintenance carried out by Safety Service’s workshop is in accordance with the Management System.
Is co responsible for keeping the Business Center equipment system updated.
Is responsible for input for monthly invoicing of third party maintained equipment at the Lab.
Is responsible for updating of all equipment certification.
Is responsible for arranging training courses for Base personnel.

WORK AREA
Has the authority to instigate corrective actions required preventing the occurrence of a non-conformance detected within the area of responsibility.
Shall participate in all maintenance, repairs and modifications of H2S equipment owned by Maersk H2S Safety Services.
Shall arrange necessary training courses for workshop personnel.
In conjunction with the Senior General Manager produce input for all maintenance and workshop personnel related costs in respect of the annual budget.
Should act impartially and work according to the laboratory management system.
Ensure the effectiveness of laboratory activities.
Ensure that MHSS procedures are followed during the execution of internal and external activities.
Perform maintenance and calibration records
AUTHORIZATION
Issue calibration certificates.
Provide technical guidance to customers.
Issue declaration of conformity or opinions and interpretations.
Interrupt a nonconforming job.
Authorization to develop, modify, verify and validate methods and procedures.
Conduct analysis of results, including declarations of conformity and opinions and interpretations.
Issuance of reports, critical analysis and validation of results.
Implementation of the existing management system in the laboratory as well carry out its maintenance and improvement.
Identification of deviations from the management system and from the procedures for conducting laboratory activities.
Initiate actions to avoid and minimize deviations.
Review and approve staff overtime.

REQUIREMENT OF EDUCATION
Bachelor of Graduation as Engineering
REQUIREMENT OF EXPERIENCE
Requirement of qualification
Familiarity with the standards applicable to the calibration laboratory.
Knowledge of gas detection and respiratory protection equipment.
Knowledge of calibration laboratory procedures.
Requirement of experience
Proven experience working in laboratories accredited by INMETRO.
Experience with operations and maintenance of gas detection equipment.
Experience in management of personnel.
Experience in equipment maintenance and logistics.
Requirement of skills
Be able to perform calibration according to the calibration method on gas detectors.
Good knowledge of the Navision system
Technical knowledge and training
Knowledge of the current procedures in the calibration laboratory.
Knowledge of the MyLogical management system.
Training of the standard ABNT NBR ISO/IEC 17025.
Knowledge of the operation and maintenance of the equipment used by Maersk H2S Safety Services.
