Title: ServiceNow Developer with Strategic Portfolio Management(SPM) & ITSM

Location: 100% Remote

Job Type: Contract

Job Specific Responsibilities:

● Have the ability to assist requesters in refining business requirement details to ensure the customers will be receiving functionality requested.

● Gain knowledge of our overall ServiceNow implementation to understand and identify cross platform impacts of changes or enhancements being requested.

● Design, develop, and implement SPM solutions including workflows, catalog items, workspaces, and integrations to meet complex business requirements

● Configure and customize the ServiceNow platform using javascript and ServiceNow APIs to extend capabilities and enhance user experience

● Design and implement workflows to support business needs and increase automation

● Develop and configure integrations between ServiceNow and other enterprise systems using integration spokes or custom APIs

● Work within the Agile methodology to develop, build and test alongside other developers to ensure the best product is delivered to requestors in a timely manner

● Work with implementation partners, or internal project teams to Implement new modules as business needs evolve

● Assist with regular ServiceNow version upgrades to ensure we remain compliant and supported by the vendor

Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies:

● Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a relevant technical field

● At least 3+ years experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the SPM module, and with good familiarity with ITSM, and the general ServiceNow platform

● Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices

● Proficiency in JavaScript and ServiceNow API web services

● Proven experience with integrating ServiceNow with other applications

● Excellent analytical and problem solving skills

● Effective communication and interpersonal skills
