Role: ServiceNow Sourcing & Procurement Operations (SPO) Architect/Lead Consultant

Location: Remote – Brazil or Mexico Job Type: 12 Months Contract

Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced ServiceNow Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO) Consultant. In this role, you will act as our internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) and architectural guardian. Your primary goal will be to oversee the design phase, ensure the proposed solutions are architecturally sound and scalable, assist with critical project work, and ensure a seamless knowledge transfer to our internal team upon project completion. Key Responsibilities: • Design & Architecture Validation: Act as the client-side Subject Matter Expert (SME) to review, challenge, validate the proposed solution design and architecture, ensuring alignment with ServiceNow best practices and our specific business needs. • Implementation Oversight & Support: Partner closely with the team to guide the configuration and deployment of the Sourcing and Procurement Operations module. • Hands-on Configuration: Assist with hands-on system configuration, data mapping, and workflow adjustments as needed to keep the project moving efficiently. • Process Alignment: Ensure that out-of-the-box (OOTB) ServiceNow capabilities are maximized and custom development is kept to an absolute minimum, aligning technical design with actual procurement (Procure-to-Pay) workflows. • Knowledge Transfer & Training: Develop and execute a comprehensive knowledge transfer plan. Mentor our internal ServiceNow administrators and procurement stakeholders so they are fully capable of managing and scaling the platform post-go-live. • Testing & Quality Assurance: Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT), helping to define test scenarios and ensuring the final product meets the agreed-upon design specifications. Required Qualifications: • Deep ServiceNow SPO Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience designing and implementing the ServiceNow Sourcing and Procurement Operations (SPO) module. • Procurement Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of broader procurement workflows, including sourcing, purchasing, vendor management, and accounts payable processes. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and conduct effective training. Preferred Qualifications: • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – Sourcing and Procurement Operations (CIS - SPO). • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
