DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer (Azure / SOC 2 Operations)

We are seeking a hands-on DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer to assist with Azure environment management, pipeline automation, and SOC 2 compliance operations. The role focuses on improving and maintaining secure, automated infrastructure — not manual deployments.

Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain Azure resources, including AKS, SQL, Storage, Service Bus, and Key Vault. Review, modify, and create GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines to support .NET Core and Angular microservices. Assist developers with environment configuration and deployment workflows. Implement and document security best practices (RBAC, SSH key management, Key Vault usage, Defender for Cloud). Support SOC 2 audit readiness by generating infrastructure evidence (access logs, configurations, backups, and monitoring settings). Maintain monitoring and alerting through Datadog and Azure Monitor. Perform operational checks — validating backups, verifying scaling rules, ensuring service uptime, and patching images when required. Improve automation scripts using PowerShell or Bash for recurring operational tasks.

Requirements Strong understanding of Azure infrastructure, especially Kubernetes (AKS), networking, and identity management. Experience working with GitHub Actions, Docker, and Helm. Ability to read and edit YAML workflows for CI/CD. Familiarity with SOC 2 security principles — least privilege, change management, monitoring, and backup verification. Experience with PowerShell and Bash. Detail-oriented and proactive in finding and implementing improvements.

Nice to Have Experience with Datadog, Azure Defender, or Vanta. Understanding of .NET Core and Angular build processes. Previous exposure to SOC 2 or ISO 27001 audits.
