Sr. Software Engineer

Software Developer – Enterprise SaaS (PHP & Python) We at Softensity are looking for a

Software Developer located in LATAM / Europe

to join an Agile team working on a large

enterprise SaaS platform

. This role is focused on

maintaining and improving a legacy system , resolving customer-reported issues, and ensuring platform stability, with opportunities for incremental enhancements. What you’ll do Maintain and enhance legacy SaaS applications built primarily with

bare-metal PHP Troubleshoot and resolve production issues reported by customers Build and maintain

RESTful APIs

using PHP and Python Work with

AWS-hosted

applications and Docker-based environments Collaborate closely with

Product, QA, and Engineering

teams in Agile ceremonies What we’re looking for Strong experience with

PHP

(including non-framework / core PHP) Backend experience with

Python Experience building and maintaining

REST APIs Background supporting

enterprise, web-based applications Comfortable working in

AWS

and

Docker

environments Proactive, collaborative, and problem-solving mindset Nice to have Some exposure to

Symfony Familiarity with

Java

or event-driven architectures Ideal for engineers who enjoy

deep problem-solving, legacy systems, and production stability

while contributing to meaningful improvements.
