Role Overview We are hiring a

Product Owner - Client Delivery

to lead delivery for a strategic client engagement with one of our key lending partners. This role will be embedded in the client program and act as the bridge between Hitch’s engineering team and the client’s business stakeholders.

You will gather requirements, manage delivery timelines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and help shape product and workflow strategies that improve borrower conversion, underwriting efficiency, and operational performance.

What You’ll Do Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary day-to-day delivery lead for the Deephaven project Work directly with client stakeholders to understand business goals, underwriting workflows, and operational needs Translate client requirements into clear product and engineering deliverables Lead client meetings, status updates, and roadmap discussions Manage expectations, priorities, and delivery timelines

Project & Delivery Management Own project planning, execution, and delivery milestones Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and QA Track progress, identify risks, and remove blockers Maintain project documentation, requirements, and timelines Ensure high-quality releases aligned with client goals

Product Strategy & Optimization Help clients improve loan conversion and underwriting outcomes Recommend workflow improvements and product enhancements Analyze feedback, usage patterns, and performance metrics Collaborate with Hitch product leadership on roadmap decisions Identify opportunities to automate processes and improve borrower experience

Requirements & Execution Gather and document detailed functional and technical requirements Define acceptance criteria and implementation scope Work closely with engineers during development cycles Support testing, validation, and production launches

What We’re Looking For Required Experience 3–7+ years in project management, product operations, or client delivery roles Experience working with engineering teams and technical products Strong stakeholder management and communication skills Experience managing complex software delivery projects Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements Highly organized with strong execution and follow-through

Nice to Have Mortgage, lending, fintech, or financial services experience Experience with loan origination systems (Encompass or similar) B2B SaaS or enterprise client delivery experience Agile / Scrum experience Experience with underwriting or financial workflow optimization Background in product management or consulting
