We are a Silicon Valley based product company building a next-generation, AI-native platform for the hospitality industry. Looking for a
Director of Marketing who understands hotels, understands technology, and knows how to turn that knowledge into real growth.
This role is ideal for someone who has marketed to hotel decision-makers before and enjoys building campaigns, writing compelling content, and generating measurable demand.
About the Role

If you’ve spent meaningful time marketing to hoteliers, understand how hotel decision-makers think, and enjoy rolling up your sleeves to create campaigns that drive pipeline, you’ll thrive in this role.
This is a
hands-on, full-funnel leadership role
responsible for building and scaling our marketing engine. You will oversee demand generation, product marketing, content creation, and go-to-market strategy while working closely with Sales to drive qualified leads and revenue growth.
The hospitality industry values clarity, trust, and solutions that make operations easier. We’re looking for someone who knows how to communicate exactly that.
What You’ll Be Doing
Develop a deep understanding of the hotel ecosystem, including independent hotels, management companies, and brand-affiliated properties.
Stay closely connected to the needs and priorities of hotel decision-makers such as:
General Managers
Directors of Sales and Marketing
Revenue Managers
Digital marketing leaders
IT leaders
Use these insights to shape messaging, positioning, and campaigns that resonate with hotel operators.
Owning the Marketing Engine
Build and manage the full marketing funnel—from awareness through lead generation, nurturing, and conversion to sales.
Key areas include:
Demand generation strategy
SEO and digital acquisition
Email and lifecycle marketing
Webinars and industry events
Campaign development and execution
Your goal is to ensure marketing consistently generates
qualified pipeline for the sales team.
Leading Blog and Thought Leadership Strategy
Own and grow the company’s
blog and thought leadership presence
to establish authority in the hospitality technology space and drive inbound demand.
This includes:
Writing and overseeing blog content focused on hotel industry trends and insights
Creating thought leadership around topics like AI in hospitality, guest engagement, and direct booking strategies
Developing SEO-driven blog content that attracts hotel decision-makers researching solutions
Implement AI Engine Optimization (AEO) strategies to ensure the company and its content are discoverable through AI agents like Copilot, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other emerging AI-driven discovery platforms.
Repurposing blog content into campaigns, LinkedIn posts, webinars, and sales materials
Creating Content That Speaks the Hotel Industry’s Language
Develop and oversee content that resonates with hospitality leaders, including:
Blog articles and thought leadership pieces
Industry guides and educational resources
Case studies and ROI stories
Campaign messaging and landing pages
Sales enablement materials
The goal is content that feels
authentic, practical, and directly relevant to hotel operators
, while positioning the company as a trusted voice in hospitality technology.
Becoming Deeply Fluent in the Product
You will develop strong product knowledge and become fluent in how the platform works.
This includes understanding:
How the product integrates into the hotel technology stack
The operational problems it solves for hotel teams
The value it creates for revenue growth and guest engagement
This fluency will help shape messaging, positioning, and product launches.
Partnering Closely with Sales
Marketing and sales alignment is critical in this role.
You will work closely with the sales team to:
Align on pipeline and growth targets
Develop campaigns that generate qualified opportunities
Support sales with content, messaging, and materials
Continuously improve lead quality and funnel performance
Using Data to Drive Decisions
Track performance across the funnel and continuously improve marketing efficiency.
You will analyze:
Lead generation performance
Campaign ROI
Funnel conversion metrics
Customer acquisition trends
Marketing should be measurable, predictable, and scalable.
Success in This Role

What We’re Looking For
Experience marketing to hotels or within the
hospitality technology ecosystem
Experience in
B2B SaaS marketing and demand generation
Proven ability to generate
qualified pipeline and measurable revenue impact
Strong writing and storytelling skills, including blogs and thought leadership content
Ability to translate complex technology into clear, compelling messaging
Comfort operating both strategically and hands-on
Experience collaborating closely with
sales teams in a pipeline-driven environment
Interest in
AI-driven platforms, automation, and emerging technology transforming hospitality
Experience at or working with
hospitality technology platforms
such as hotel CRM, guest engagement, marketing automation, revenue management, or hotel operations platforms is highly valued.
