You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to support month-end activities, maintain financial data integrity, and contribute to a culture of compliance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:
Able to ensure compliant General ledger processes and consistent and correct financial bookings in the area of Month End Closing (MEC) / Year End Closing (YEC), Fixed assets, GL Master data, Intercompany, tax and to maintain adequate ledgers (balances & P&L)
Responsible of ensuring compliance with group, legal and tax requirements
Responsible of operating and monitoring General Ledger related ICS (Internal Control System) controls
Managing internal & external audits
Analyzing and steering General ledger KPIs (key performance indicators) and derive improvements for the General Ledger processes
Being a sparring partner for the FBPs by linking business decisions to accounting processes and by delivering and improving agreed General Ledger services to the entities in scope
Influencing finance & non-finance stakeholders and successfully communicate at any level of the organization
Developing a high performing Accounting team in direct responsibility and foster & leverage diversity & inclusion. Keen on continuously developing themselves.
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree related to Accounting is required with an active registry in CRC is required. Master’s degree is a plus
Bilingüal Portuguese and English is required
Strong strategic acumen with hands-on experience in accounting, direct tax and auditing processes
Proven success in business partnering roles, working alongside execs and cross-functional teams to drive real outcomes
Ability to influence without authority, simplify complex financial topics, and communicate clearly
Having led a team is a plus
