As a
CMDB ServiceNow Technical Consultant
you will focus on designing, implementing, and optimizing CMDB solutions, ensuring accurate configuration data and supporting IT service management processes.
Essential Functions/Core Responsibilities
Design, implement,
and
maintain
ServiceNow CMDB architecture and data models.
Configure and support
ServiceNow Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM
integrations.
Ensure CMDB
data quality, governance, and compliance
.
Develop custom
scripts, business rules, and integrations
within ServiceNow.
Support
CI lifecycle
management and relationship mapping.
Collaborate with
ITSM, ITOM
, and infrastructure teams.
Troubleshoot
CMDB and discovery issues.
Document technical solutions and
best practices.
Participate in client workshops and requirement gathering.
Provide technical guidance and recommendations for CMDB
optimization.
Support CMDB
audits and health dashboards
.
Candidate Profile
5 years of experience with
ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and ITOM
.
ServiceNow
Certified
Implementation Specialist – CMDB.
Hands-on experience with:
CI Class Manager
Identification & Reconciliation Engine (IRE)
Service Mapping
MID Server configuration
Proficiency in:
JavaScript, ServiceNow scripting
(Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts).
Experience
integrating
ServiceNow with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
Strong understanding of
ITIL
framework.
Fluent in
Portuguese
and
English
(written and spoken).
Bonus Skills
Knowledge of
cloud
platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with ServiceNow
CSDM
.
