This position is responsible for leading and managing ethics and compliance investigations across Latin America, operating under global standards of integrity, transparency, and regulatory compliance. It is an individual contributor role within a Global Investigations Center of Expertise, reporting directly to the regional investigations leadership.The Investigator will handle a broad range of ethics and compliance allegations in the region.This is a hybrid/remote position and may be based in Brazil in accordance with corporate and legal guidelines.Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive, high‐quality end‐to‐end investigations into potential breaches of internal policies, ethical standards, and/or applicable laws and regulations, presenting findings to senior management. - Prepare written investigation plans and reports as needed. - Maintain strict confidentiality in the handling and processing of complaints and allegations. - Provide regular and detailed updates to management regarding the status of investigations, ensuring timely closure. - Convene Disciplinary & Prevention Committees to evaluate and approve recommended disciplinary actions and preventive measures stemming from validated breaches. - Lead investigations across the Latin America region, guiding and collaborating with the broader ethics and compliance network. - Work closely with regional and local legal teams on matters involving potential regulatory or legal violations. - Partner with the global investigations team on sensitive cases or those involving senior management. - Provide supervision and training to local ethics and compliance staff on investigation procedures and best practices. - Support root cause analyses when appropriate.Required Competencies- Honesty, integrity, objectivity, and strong judgment - Effective senior‐level communication and interviewing skills - Critical analytical thinking and problem‐solving abilities - Strong planning and project management capabilitiesMinimum Qualifications- Bachelor's degree or higher (Law degree strongly preferred) - At least 5 years of investigation‐focused experience in a corporate or government setting - Fluency in English, Portuguese, and Spanish - Experience with International Trade Compliance and/or FCPA is a plus
