Position Summary Vanzbon Group is looking for a
Country Representative & Local Operations Lead
to support and grow our presence in Brazil.
This is a
hands-on, locally based role
combining:
local representation for Vanzbon in Brazil,
coordination of company setup and ongoing compliance with local advisors and authorities, and
support in building relationships with banks, service providers, and other business partners.
The role is ideal for professionals who understand
how business is set up and run in Brazil
(registries, tax IDs, banks, basic compliance) and who are comfortable working in
Portuguese and English
with clients, partners, and our regional/HQ teams.
Key Responsibilities1. Local Representation & Contact Point
Act as the
primary local contact
for Vanzbon in Brazil for clients, partners, and internal teams.
Represent Vanzbon in
meetings (online and in-person)
with clients, law firms, accounting firms, banks, business parks, and other stakeholders.
Serve, where appropriate and permitted by law, as a
designated local contact for corporate and regulatory communication
(e.g. for correspondence with authorities, banks, and service providers).
2. Company Setup & Compliance Coordination
Coordinate the
incorporation and maintenance
of Brazilian entities with external law firms, accountants, and corporate service providers.
Support filings and registrations with
Junta Comercial, Receita Federal (CNPJ)
and other relevant bodies, under guidance from professional advisors.
Help ensure that basic
compliance obligations
(e.g. statutory updates, address/board changes, local reporting) are tracked and delivered with support from our accounting/compliance partners.
3. Banking & Practical Operations
Support
bank account opening and onboarding , including:
liaising with relationship managers,
preparing and collecting documentation,
coordinating meetings and follow-ups.
Assist with practical matters such as
registered address coordination, notary work, sworn translations, and document legalisation .
Help resolve operational bottlenecks by proactively communicating with local institutions and service providers.
4. Partner & Business Support
Identify and help build a network of
local partners
(law firms, accounting/tax firms, business parks, consultants, etc.) that can support client projects in Brazil.
Provide basic
market-entry and process insight
to regional and HQ teams (e.g. typical timelines, process steps, common issues).
Participate in calls with clients and internal teams to explain local procedures and next steps from a practical execution standpoint (within internal guidelines).
5. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain
organised digital records
of company documents, filings, contracts, meeting notes, and correspondence.
Join regular coordination calls with regional and HQ teams in
English , providing clear status updates on:
company setup,
banking progress,
compliance items, and
local partnership development.
Prepare simple internal
checklists, timelines, and SOP-style notes
on “how to get things done” in Brazil.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in
Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Finance, International Relations , or a related field.
Typically
3–6 years of relevant experience
in Brazil in one or more of the following areas:
corporate services / company registration / corporate admin,
banking (onboarding, KYC, SME/corporate clients),
accounting/tax support roles with strong exposure to company setup and compliance,
legal/admin roles dealing with authorities and financial institutions.
Familiarity with key processes such as
company registration (Junta Comercial), CNPJ/Receita Federal procedures, and bank onboarding
is highly valued.
Experience working with external advisors (law firms, accountants, consultants) and coordinating multi-party projects.
High working proficiency in
Portuguese
and solid working proficiency in
English
(calls + written updates with HQ).
Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills.
Legally eligible to work in Brazil
and normally based in the country.

Clear and concise written communication, both in Portuguese and English.
Professional, discreet, and service-minded when dealing with clients, banks, advisors, and authorities.
Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with regional and HQ teams.
