Role Overview
The Operations Manager oversees and optimizes core business operations to ensure efficiency, scalability, and execution excellence. This role blends strategic thinking with hands-on leadership across processes, systems, data, and people.
You will act as the operational backbone of the organization—building structure, improving workflows, and enabling teams to perform at a high level. This role is ideal for operators who enjoy owning outcomes, solving complex problems, and driving execution across multiple priorities.

Core Responsibilities
Operations Strategy & Execution — 30%
Lead day-to-day operational execution across teams and workflows
Translate business objectives into clear operational plans
Identify gaps, risks, and inefficiencies across operations
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Process Optimization & Systems — 25%
Design, document, and optimize operational processes and SOPs
Implement automation to reduce manual work and errors
Improve cross-functional workflows and handoffs
Maintain operational documentation for scale
Data, Reporting & Insights — 20%
Track operational KPIs and performance metrics
Build and maintain dashboards and reports
Analyze trends to support data-driven decision-making
Communicate insights clearly to leadership
Team & Resource Management — 15%
Oversee capacity planning, scheduling, and workload distribution
Support onboarding, training, and performance management
Ensure accountability and operational consistency
Foster strong execution habits in remote environments
Project & Initiative Management — 10%
Lead cross-functional initiatives and operational projects
Manage timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations
Escalate risks and blockers proactively
Ensure on-time and high-quality delivery
Requirements
Must-Haves (Required)
1–3+ years of experience in operations, project management, or operational leadership roles
Strong ability to build and improve operational processes
Data-driven mindset with experience using metrics to guide decisions
Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills
High ownership, accountability, and attention to detail
Comfort working independently in a fully remote environment
Nice-to-Haves (Preferred)
Experience scaling operations in fast-paced or startup environments
Exposure to automation, systems integration, or process design
Background managing distributed or contractor teams
Experience supporting leadership or executive initiatives
Tools Proficiency

Databases / Organization: Airtable, Notion, or similar tools
Automation: Zapier, Make (Integromat), or equivalent
