We are seeking an experienced Salesforce OEM Developer to design, build, and maintain scalable Salesforce-based products using Salesforce’s OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) platform. This role requires deep expertise in Salesforce application development, second-generation managed packages, and modern Salesforce development practices, including a thorough and practical understanding of Salesforce platform governor limits and how to design within them.
Along with our partner, we are seeking a candidate who combines strong engineering skills with deep Salesforce administrator-level knowledge to deliver secure, performant, and upgrade-safe managed solutions deployed across multiple customer orgs.
Key Responsibilities:
Salesforce OEM & Application Development
Design, develop, and maintain Salesforce OEM solutions using second-generation managed packages (2GP)
Build scalable, upgrade-safe features aligned with Salesforce OEM and ISV best practices
Implement application logic using Apex, SOQL, and SOSL, with careful consideration of platform constraints
Design solutions that efficiently operate within Salesforce governor limits, including limits related to CPU time, heap size, queries, DML, and concurrent execution
Develop modern user experiences using Lightning Web Components (LWC) and the Lightning framework
Ensure package versioning, dependency management, and release processes follow Salesforce standards
Platform Configuration & Administration
Apply deep Salesforce admin knowledge to design effective, maintainable configurations that complement custom code
Build and maintain Flows (record-triggered, screen flows, orchestration), ensuring automation is performant and governor-limit aware
Configure and manage profiles, permission sets, permission set groups, roles, and sharing rules
Design and maintain page layouts, Lightning Record Pages, and UI customizations
Evaluate and balance declarative vs. programmatic solutions to minimize technical debt and reduce risk of governor limit violations
Source Control & DevOps
Use Git for source control, including branching, merging, and pull request workflows
Collaborate within CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce deployments (e.g., scratch orgs, packaging orgs, automated testing)
Support release management processes for managed packages across multiple versions and customers
Quality & Collaboration
Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure high code coverage and validate behavior under governor limit constraints
Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex performance and limit-related issues across customer environments
Collaborate with product, architecture, QA, and support teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions
Contribute to technical documentation and Salesforce OEM best practice guidelines
Required Qualifications:
5+ years of experience developing on the Salesforce Platform, particularly with hands-on experience with Salesforce OEM development.
Proven experience building and maintaining second-generation managed packages (2GP)
Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs
Thorough understanding of Salesforce platform governor limits, including how they impact:
○Apex execution
○Flows and declarative automation
○Bulk processing and data volume
○Multi-tenant OEM applications
Deep Salesforce administrator-level expertise, including:
○Flow and declarative automation tooling
○Security and permissions modeling
○Page layouts and Lightning Record Pages
○Data modeling and configuration best practices
Experience using Git for source control in collaborative development environments
Strong understanding of Salesforce security, data access patterns, and scalable design principles
Hold a Platform App Builder Certification is a valuable plus!
Benefits:
A fully remote position with a structured schedule that supports work-life balance.
The opportunity to build and scale advanced Salesforce OEM products that power multi-tenant enterprise solutions.
Two weeks of paid vacation per year.
10 paid days for local holidays.
