We are seeking an experienced Procurement Leader to report directly to the Procurement Manager This role is responsible for executing local sourcing strategies, driving cost optimization initiatives, and ensuring supply continuity, while maintaining strong alignment with global procurement objectives.

The position includes direct leadership of a team of three procurement professionals and requires close collaboration with international stakeholders. The successful candidate will combine strategic thinking with a hands‑on execution mindset, supporting operational excellence while enabling the Procurement Manager to focus on long‑term and global procurement strategy. Fluency in English is mandatory. Key Responsibilities Act as a key member of the Brazilian procurement team, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager and leading a team of three professionals, ensuring high performance, clear priorities, and continuous professional development. Support the Procurement Manager by taking ownership of operational procurement activities, KPI tracking, and local negotiations, allowing greater focus on strategic initiatives. Define and execute local procurement strategies, aligning sourcing decisions with business objectives, cost targets, and risk management requirements. Conduct spend analysis, supplier performance evaluations, and market intelligence to identify cost‑saving opportunities and value creation initiatives. Lead supplier selection, qualification, and negotiation processes, ensuring optimal commercial terms, quality standards, and service levels. Manage supplier relationships and contracts, monitoring KPIs and SLAs, and implementing corrective actions when required. Partner closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, R&D, and Quality teams to support demand planning, inventory optimization, and business continuity. Ensure effective use of ERP systems and procurement tools to improve transparency, reporting accuracy, and process efficiency. Monitor market trends, regulatory requirements, and industry developments that may impact sourcing strategies. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the implementation of global procurement programs, standards, and best practices. Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or Master’s degree is a plus. Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain, preferably within ink manufacturing, chemicals, or industrial environments. Proven experience in a leadership or senior role, including team coordination or people management. Strong negotiation skills and solid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and contract governance. Advanced analytical capabilities, including spend analysis and cost modeling. High proficiency in Excel (including VBA and database management), with a strong data‑driven mindset. Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience is highly desirable. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in cross‑functional and international environments. Fluent English is mandatory for interaction with global teams and international suppliers.
