OCI Administration

Job Title: OCI Administration Location: Brazil Duration:12 months plus contract Rate: DOE

5+ years of hands-on experience in Linux/Unix Administration. 3+ Years experience in OCI Administration - Tenancy, VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, handling firewalls, subnets, storage options, FSS, Block Volume, Object storage.

Responsibilities:

• Oracle WebLogic Software installation and Maintenance (11.x, 12.x and 14.x versions) • Installing WebLogic patches, service packs etc. • WebLogic Application Server administration. • Performance monitoring and tuning - Basic • Carrying out Thread Dump Analysis, Heap dump analysis etc. • Configuring of LDAP and Security realms - Basic • Developing automation scripts. • Applying utilities like WebLogic. Admin, WebLogic. Deployer etc. • Integrating with HTTP servers. • Troubleshooting of JAR, EAR, WAR etc • OCI infra-administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration monitoring). • Hands on experience in writing and modifying Terraform scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI Infrastructure. • Hands on experience performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required and ensure high availability of infrastructure. • Experience in Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. Configure/add new services as necessary. • Experience on EXADATA Infrastructure patching on EXACC is added advantage. • Understanding or experience on Tanium Tool is an added advantage. • Experience on Handling OS related or Application related security vulnerabilities is an added advantage. • Exposure to using code repository like GIT. • Hands on Experience with provisioning storage, compute nodes, network. and understanding requirements for the same. • Experience with Ansible and YAML syntax. • Experience in Handling Certificate renewals on OCI. • Understanding and hands on experience of HA architecture in an OCI environment. • Strong understanding of HA concepts in DR and setting up on Infrastructure for DR Site. • Experience with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage. • Should be well verse with ITIL based service delivery for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Capacity Management, Configuration Management. Oracle WebLogic Administrator: Responsible for deploying and supporting middleware applications using Oracle WebLogic products. The ideal candidate will have a minimum 5 years of experience with middleware administration in a large enterprise environment with a focus on WebLogic.
