Job Title: Finance Manager(Latin America Region)
Employment Type: Full Time (8 hours/day)

Overview
We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee the company's overall financial strategy and planning, evaluate financial performance, risks, and investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge of finance, accounting, and business principles, with strong strategic thinking and leadership skills to drive profitability and return on investment.
This role involves close collaboration with senior executives to develop budgets and coordinate strategy execution, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations. We are looking for an analytical and strategic leader to join our fast-paced and growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of cash management, investments, insurance, budgeting, and financial reporting. Drive the implementation of financial strategy and support team hiring and development.
- Lead the development of annual operating, capital, and program budgets, and provide regular reporting and analysis.
- Supervise daily accounting, recording, reporting, and internal control activities to ensure cash flow alignment with operational needs.
- Establish and implement financial best practices and tools to strengthen fiscal management, project coordination, cross-functional communication, and workflow efficiency.
- Monitor national and local financial regulations to ensure ongoing compliance.
- Provide strategic financial guidance to support business decision-making and achievement of company objectives.
- Mentor and develop the finance team to enhance professional capabilities and execution effectiveness.
- Contribute to the formulation of overall business strategy from a financial perspective.
- Develop and monitor operating budgets to ensure financial targets are met and to forecast future trends.
- Implement an internal audit program to ensure compliance with financial and statutory requirements.
- Oversee external contracts and supplier performance to ensure adherence to service agreements.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure sound financial management and risk control.
- Report to management and stakeholders, offering advice and insights for key business decisions.
- Conduct finance-related training to uplift team competencies.
- Prepare financial reports related to budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and expenses.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities.
- Assess and manage financial risks, developing appropriate mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA) is preferred.
- Substantial experience in the finance industry (suggested 10+ years), with familiarity with SUFRAMA regulations and the tax benefits/obligations of the Zona Franca de Manaus.
- Demonstrated experience in product cost analysis and strategy development.
- Experience in mergers & acquisitions and investor relations is a plus.
- Strong English communication skills (written and spoken) to collaborate effectively with international teams. Proficiency in Spanish is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities, with a high degree of integrity and professionalism.
- Outstanding verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
- Solid understanding of advanced accounting principles, tax planning, and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of non-traditional fundraising channels and capital raising methods.
- Familiarity with foreign exchange risk management mechanisms.
- Proficient in using relevant information technology and financial software.
