Chief Financial Officer

Our client is a global company in the pharmaceutical and hospital solutions sector, with a well‑established international operation and accelerated growth in Brazil. The company is currently going through a strategic phase of evolution and strengthening of its financial models in the local market.

We are seeking a Chief Financial Officer to act as a strategic business partner, with full responsibility for the company’s financial management in Brazil. The position will have strong exposure to corporate finance, with emphasis on Controllership and support for Go‑to‑Market strategies, working in close collaboration with the CEO and the other executive leadership team members.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

Financial Management and Business Governance: Fully lead the Controllership, Treasury, Accounting, Cost, and Collections functions, ensuring financial soundness, operational efficiency, and strict compliance with the legal, tax, and regulatory requirements applicable to the pharmaceutical and hospital sectors.

Ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial information, supporting strategic decision-making and the sustainable growth of the Brazilian operation.

Structure and strengthen financial planning processes, including budgeting, forecasting, profitability analysis, and cost control.

People Management and Organizational Development: Structure, lead, and develop the finance team, ensuring a technically strong, engaged team aligned with the current and future needs of the business.

Strategic Business Partnering: Act as a strategic partner to the executive leadership team, influencing decisions related to Go‑to‑Market strategies, pricing, product mix, distribution channels, and investments.

Support Commercial, Marketing, Operations, and Production areas with robust financial analysis, a critical view of risks and opportunities, and a strong focus on value creation.

Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and holistic business vision, serving as both a technical and behavioral reference within the organization.

Solid experience in senior financial leadership roles, with a generalist scope and strong strategic influence on the business, preferably within multinational and regulated environments.

Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Accounting; MBA or postgraduate studies in Finance or Controllership will be considered a strong plus.

Strategic profile with solid expertise in Controllership, Treasury, Accounting, Cost Management, Governance, and operational efficiency.

Strong analytical and business acumen, with proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, KPIs, and profitability analysis.

Demonstrated ability to lead teams and act as a Business Partner to Commercial, Operations, and Production areas.

Fluent English is required; Spanish is desirable.
