What you’ll be doing
1.Undertakes the implementation and assessment of legal and regulatory requirements, internal programmes and policies, standards and procedures.
2. Executes a range of advisory activities to the business on compliance-related matters and on the regulatory implications of new and existing products, business initiatives, campaigns, services and processes.
3. Organises the development and provision of customised Compliance training as well as the definition of communication plans to meet the needs of the Group.
4. Contributes towards ensuring a proper policy framework in its areas of expertise, controlling the framework and taking into account all current legal, regulatory and internal requirements.
5. Designs and implements appropriate second line controls, monitoring and substantive testing measures within the Group and on the first line controls related to the framework.
6. Contributes to providing advice on and evaluating the implementation of Group's internal guidelines and procedures as well as identify implementation gaps.
7. Executes the identification and examination of compliance risks in cooperation with relevant functions / process owners and the policy framework around the management of these risks.
8. Leads on the documentation of compliance monitoring, as well as communication to the business of findings and appropriate follow up.
9. Delivers communications and awareness sessions regarding Compliance related legal and regulatory norms, internal norms or processes.
10. Mentors other Compliance professionals, helping to improve the team's abilities by acting as a technical resource.
11. Champions, continuously develops and shares with team knowledge on emerging trends and changes in Compliance.
