Sobre o Cargo: Data Engineer Sênior

Required experience

• Recommended experience: 5-7 years of hands-on BI application development experience

• Ability to identify technical, security risks and propose mitigation actions

• Hands on experience of Configuration & Release Management Practices

• Participate in software modification during integration testing

• Understand requirements from the stakeholders and documenting such requirements under guidance

• Propose changes to improve efficiency and/or reduce operation or maintenance cost;

• Create good practices and propose improvements

• Gather functional and non functional, including information security requirements from the stakeholders and

document such requirements

Mandatory Skills

• Strong ETL / ELT development experience

* Informatica IICS (design, development, monitoring, optimization)

• Advanced SQL (SQL Server) for data transformation and performance tuning

• MS SSIS for data integration and legacy pipeline support

• Power BI (Semantic modeling, DAX, Performance optimization)

• Data Modeling (Conceptual, logical, and physical models)

• Dimensional modeling (star / snowflake schemas)

• Azure Cloud Data Services (Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics,

Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault)

• Databricks (Pipeline development, Notebooks (Python and/or Scala), Spark optimization and cost/performance

tuning)

• Distributed data architectures and large-scale data processing

• Strong understanding of data formats (Parquet, Avro, JSON)

• CI/CD & DevOps for data platforms (Azure DevOps, Git (branching, version control, deployments))

• Agile/Scrum development methodologies

• Data governance concepts (Data quality, Lineage, Security and access control)

• Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including (Data preparation for models, Interpreting model outputs)

• Excellent communication skills in English.

Recommended Skills

• Excellent Communication: Ability to interact effectively with international teams, business, and IT Knowledge of

the industrial, automotive, or logistics sectors.

• Experience working with European teams.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure Functions and Azure Web Apps.

• Background in API integrations and JSON-based messaging.

• Strategic mindset with the ability to align technical solutions to business objectives.

• Strong leadership and mentoring skills.

• Excellent verbal and written communication, with a collaborative approach.

• Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.

Degree

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
