Technical Lead – Sample Manager LIMS

Brazil (Remote); preferred in Sao Paulo. Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Technical Lead – SampleManager to lead and deliver SampleManager LIMS implementation and enhancement projects. This role is responsible for driving technical execution, collaborating closely with clients and internal teams, and ensuring high-quality, compliant, and timely delivery of solutions aligned with company standards and SOPs. Key Responsibilities • Lead the technical team on SampleManager LIMS implementation and enhancement projects. • Act as a technical front-facing resource with customers to understand enhancement requirements and propose effective solutions. • Facilitate requirement-gathering workshops and produce clear, detailed requirement specification documents. • Design, develop, configure, and implement enhancements and revisions to meet client needs. • Deliver solutions according to agreed timelines, ensuring compliance with company standards, SOPs, and quality guidelines. • Provide technical guidance and support to internal team members and clients throughout the project lifecycle. • Evaluate client requirements and translate them into scalable, high-quality technical solutions. • Contribute to the delivery of high-quality software through effective system design, peer code reviews, unit testing, and best development practices. • Participate across the full system lifecycle, including design, development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing support. • Collaborate effectively with multiple internal teams and multiple client stakeholders simultaneously. Technical Scope • Develop and configure SampleManager workflows, including: ✓ Sample workflows ✓ Stock and instrument modules ✓ Instrument interfacing using Integration Manager ✓ Report Designer, Forms Designer, and Label Designer ✓ Sample Scheduler, Batch Management, Lot Management, and Plate Handling ✓ Stability, SQC, SM-IDI, PIMS, and Dashboards Required Qualifications • 7+ years of experience in SampleManager implementation and support. • Extensive hands-on experience developing and configuring solutions in SampleManager LIMS • Strong background in systems analysis, design, development, quality assurance, and integration methodologies. • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team, with minimal supervision in project environments. • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance and prioritize multiple concurrent projects. • Excellent communication skills; English language proficiency is required. Spanish is nice to have • Flexible, self-motivated, and proactive team player with a positive, delivery-focused attitude. • Willingness and ability to learn and migrate to new technologies while adhering to priorities and timelines. • Clear understanding of individual and company goals, with a strong commitment to seeing work through to completion.
