The Role
The Head of Digital Media & Social Strategy owns VEL’s external narrative architecture across digital platforms — with primary emphasis on executive-level social presence.
This is not a community manager role.
This is not a paid ads role.
This is not influencer marketing.
This is strategic storytelling at infrastructure scale.
You will shape how investors, real estate partners, technologists, and operators perceive VEL.
Core Responsibilities
● Architect and manage CEO digital presence (LinkedIn, X primarily)
● Translate complex Physical AI concepts into compelling, high-authority content
● Build structured content cadence aligned with fundraise and deployment milestones
● Draft executive-level thought leadership
● Develop long-form and short-form narrative
● Oversee visual language consistency across platforms
● Coordinate announcements (product, partnerships, capital)
● Track audience quality, not vanity metrics
● Align digital positioning with capital strategy
This role requires editorial precision, strategic thinking, and executive-level maturity.
Mandatory Qualifications (Non-Negotiable)
You must have:
● 5+ years leading digital strategy or executive communications
● Direct experience managing a C-level executive’s social presence
● Demonstrated experience writing long-form thought leadership
● Experience in venture-backed, deep-tech, B2B, or infrastructure environments
● Strong understanding of LinkedIn-native growth mechanics
● Fluent professional English (written and spoken)
● Comfort working closely with a founder

Travel Requirement
Up to 45-60 days per year may be required for:

Compensation
$40,000 – $60,000 USD + performance-based equity
Compensation reflects executive narrative responsibility and long-term alignment.
Reporting Line
Reports directly to the CEO.
This role has strategic influence across fundraise, product positioning, and external communications.
