Power Platform / Power Automate Lead Developer
Summary
Seeking a highly skilled Power Automate–focused Power Platform Lead Developer to design, build, and optimize automated workflows and business process solutions. The ideal candidate excels in Power Automate, with solid experience in Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, and Dataverse, enabling end to end digital process automation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Power Automate (Primary Focus)
• Design, build, and maintain complex Power Automate flows, including multi stage approval processes, scheduled automations, data integrations, and process orchestration.
• Implement error handling, retries, parallel branches, condition-based logic, and performance optimization within flows.
• Integrate flows with SharePoint, Dataverse, Teams, Outlook, Forms, APIs, and external systems using standard and custom connectors.
• Automate manual or repetitive business processes end to end, improving efficiency, accuracy, and cycle times.
• Monitor and troubleshoot production flows, ensuring reliability, scalability, and resilience.
Power Apps & Dataverse
• Build and enhance Canvas Apps with intuitive, responsive UI, role-based access, and data driven logic.
• Create Model Driven Apps leveraging Dataverse tables, forms, views, business rules, and processes.
• Model business data in Dataverse, including tables, relationships, security roles, and business rules.
Collaboration & Delivery
• Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into automated solutions.
• Support full lifecycle delivery — design, development, testing, deployment, documentation, and hypercare.
• Ensure alignment with governance, security, and best practice standards across the Power Platform environment.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong hands on expertise in Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Automate Desktop, including advanced flow patterns, connectors, and integrations.
• Experience building approval workflows, complex branching logic, and enterprise grade automation solutions.
• Proficiency with Canvas Apps, Model Driven Apps, and Dataverse, preferably with UI/UX experience.
• Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 ecosystem integrations (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, Forms, OneDrive).
• Ability to analyze business processes and architect scalable automation solutions.
• Experience working across multiple environments (Dev/UAT/Prod) following ALM best practices.
Preferred Qualifications
• Microsoft certifications such as PL 900, PL 400 or PL 600.
• Experience with API integrations, premium connectors, and custom connectors.
• Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies and CI/CD for Power Platform.
