Position Summary

Vanzbon Group is looking for a Country Representative & Local Operations Lead to support and grow our presence in Brazil.

This is a hands-on, locally based role combining:

- local representation for Vanzbon in Brazil, - coordination of company setup and ongoing compliance with local advisors and authorities, and - support in building relationships with banks, service providers, and other business partners.

The role is ideal for professionals who understand how business is set up and run in Brazil (registries, tax IDs, banks, basic compliance) and who are comfortable working in Portuguese and English with clients, partners, and our regional/HQ teams.

Key Responsibilities1. Local Representation & Contact Point

- Act as the primary local contact for Vanzbon in Brazil for clients, partners, and internal teams. - Represent Vanzbon in meetings (online and in-person) with clients, law firms, accounting firms, banks, business parks, and other stakeholders. - Serve, where appropriate and permitted by law, as a designated local contact for corporate and regulatory communication (e.g. for correspondence with authorities, banks, and service providers).

2. Company Setup & Compliance Coordination

- Coordinate the incorporation and maintenance of Brazilian entities with external law firms, accountants, and corporate service providers. - Support filings and registrations with Junta Comercial, Receita Federal (CNPJ) and other relevant bodies, under guidance from professional advisors. - Help ensure that basic compliance obligations (e.g. statutory updates, address/board changes, local reporting) are tracked and delivered with support from our accounting/compliance partners.

3. Banking & Practical Operations

- Support bank account opening and onboarding, including: - liaising with relationship managers, - preparing and collecting documentation, - coordinating meetings and follow-ups. - Assist with practical matters such as registered address coordination, notary work, sworn translations, and document legalisation. - Help resolve operational bottlenecks by proactively communicating with local institutions and service providers.

4. Partner & Business Support

- Identify and help build a network of local partners (law firms, accounting/tax firms, business parks, consultants, etc.) that can support client projects in Brazil. - Provide basic market-entry and process insight to regional and HQ teams (e.g. typical timelines, process steps, common issues). - Participate in calls with clients and internal teams to explain local procedures and next steps from a practical execution standpoint (within internal guidelines).

5. Reporting & Documentation

- Maintain organised digital records of company documents, filings, contracts, meeting notes, and correspondence. - Join regular coordination calls with regional and HQ teams in English, providing clear status updates on: - company setup, - banking progress, - compliance items, and - local partnership development. - Prepare simple internal checklists, timelines, and SOP-style notes on "how to get things done" in Brazil.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Accounting, Finance, International Relations, or a related field. - Typically 3–6 years of relevant experience in Brazil in one or more of the following areas: - corporate services / company registration / corporate admin, - banking (onboarding, KYC, SME/corporate clients), - accounting/tax support roles with strong exposure to company setup and compliance, - legal/admin roles dealing with authorities and financial institutions. - Familiarity with key processes such as company registration (Junta Comercial), CNPJ/Receita Federal procedures, and bank onboarding is highly valued. - Experience working with external advisors (law firms, accountants, consultants) and coordinating multi-party projects. - High working proficiency in Portuguese and solid working proficiency in English (calls + written updates with HQ). - Strong coordination, follow-up, and documentation skills. - Legally eligible to work in Brazil and normally based in the country.

Skills & Competencies

- Execution-focused and proactive – willing to call, email, or visit offices and partners to clarify processes and move matters forward. - Strong sense of ownership and responsibility for tasks, timelines, and quality of communication. - Able to manage several workstreams at once (registration, banking, partners, internal reporting) while keeping information accurate and organised. - Clear and concise written communication, both in Portuguese and English. - Professional, discreet, and service-minded when dealing with clients, banks, advisors, and authorities. - Comfortable working independently while staying aligned with regional and HQ teams.
