We seek experienced high-performing Software Quality Engineers for positions involving quality assurance and test automation for a Private Cloud Platform solution aimed at enabling distributed Edge computing. You will join a highly skilled team delivering a highly distributed private cloud platform supporting containerized applications in addition to supporting virtual machines and bare metal nodes. Responsibilities and Duties

Analyze requirements, create test plans and test cases, execute functional/exploratory tests;

Automate tests through use of test automation tools and through code development;

Interact with Software Development team in order to complete ticket cycles;

Analyze system and applications and propose test strategy;

Participate in technical discussions with customer;

Coordinate withdevelopment team to drive product quality;

Report/Monitor/Verify issues in defect tracking tool (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc);

Perform regression tests to validate fixes. Essential Skills

Experience with Python for testing;

Experience withKubernetes and containers;

Knowledge of creating scripts using automated testing tools;

Experience working on Linux platforms. Highly Desirable Skills

Experience developing test cases/plans and ability to analyze code to identify root cause of issues;

Experience working with testing tools: Pytest Framework / Cypress;

Experience working in an Agile / Scrum / Kanban environment. About Encora
