The Role
As a BDR at Upstart AEC, you’ll sit at the front of our revenue engine. You’ll work across enterprise-level outreach and transactional sales, combining high-volume execution with thoughtful strategy.
This is not a script-only role. We’re looking for someone who can think, adapt, and communicate exceptionally well.
What You’ll Do
Conduct
cold calling and outbound outreach
to prospective clients
Qualify inbound and outbound leads and move opportunities forward
Support enterprise-level sales conversations while also handling transactional deals
Speak confidently and professionally with US-based stakeholders
Help build and refine outreach strategies, messaging, and sales processes
Maintain accurate CRM records and follow-up discipline
Collaborate closely with leadership and operations teams
Represent Upstart AEC with trust, credibility, and consistency
Who We’re Looking For
This role is for a Type A, high-energy, high-integrity individual with strong communication skills and international exposure.
Must-haves:
Considerable experience in the
United States
(cultural fluency is critical)
Currently living in or open to working from
Latin America
Strong international experience and cross-cultural communication skills
Excellent spoken English with a confident, natural phone presence
Comfortable with cold calling and real-time conversations
Trustworthy, reliable, and accountable
Highly motivated, proactive, and eager to grow
Nice-to-haves:
Previous experience as a BDR, SDR, or in sales-related roles
Exposure to enterprise sales environments
Experience working with US companies or clients
Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Salesforce, etc.)
