Director of Care

Walara Ardrossan Seaview requires a fulltime Director of Care who will be responsible for a broad portfolio that supports the care of residents in the Residential Aged Care Facility.

Walara continues to expand independent living and home care services for which this position will have contributing responsibility as those services evolve.

You will be responsible for providing support, direction, and oversight of the day-to-day operations of Walara Ardrossan Seaview, ensuring that residents, employees, and other third-party outcomes are met.

Salary Package + Super + Salary Packaging+ negotiated (up to 3 months) residential accommodation

$16,500 Australian Government relocation incentive(subject to eligibility)

Requirements:

Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration

Demonstrated leadership skills

Management experience in Aged Care

Knowledge of AN-ACC with highly developed documentation skills

Demonstrated experience working with the Aged Care standards

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Current NDIS Worker Check & Worker Orientation Module

Compliance with vaccination requirements

History of Walara Incorporated Walara Incorporated was formed as a result of 3 aged care facilities merging in 2022/2023, Balaklava Millcourt Homes, Hamley Bridge Aged Care, and Gilbert Valley Senior Citizens Homes. Ardrossan Seaview is a recent addition to the Walara "family" in October 2025, and all facilities are accredited until 2028.

The four sites operate 160 residential aged care beds in total, and retirement living services in Balaklava and Gilbert Valley.
