We are seeking an ongoing Senior Finance Business Partner to join our Finance and Business Performance division.

The Opportunity The role of the Senior Finance Business Partner is to deliver strong commercial insight and understanding toward achieving strategic and operational business outcomes and improvements.

What you'll do

Support Finance Managers in preparing and presenting high‑quality, timely management reports.

Provide financial advice and partnering support to Business Managers, including preparing detailed forecasts and budgets where trends are analysed, business drivers understood, and proactive recommendations made.

Build and maintain strong working relationships with senior leaders and operational teams. Develop a deep understanding of business operations to help stakeholders interpret financial information, performance metrics, and key drivers of results.

Contribute to major finance programs and project activities, providing financial analysis, process insight, and change support across the Finance team.

Assist finance Managers to drive continuous process improvement. Identify inefficiencies, streamline workflows, standardise approaches, and embed improved practices to enhance accuracy.

Provide expert financial advice on business cases, projects, programs and initiatives to deliver optimal outcomes and act as an escalation point for complex financial issues.

Provide day‑to‑day leadership and support to junior team members, fostering capability development, shared learning and skill uplift.

Support the Manager Finance Business Partners Operations position when required.

What you'll need to be successful Essential Criteria

Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce or an equivalent related discipline.

Experience in a senior management accounting/business partnering role including budgeting, forecasting, and monthly reporting and variance analysis; demonstrating a strong understanding of commercial business principles and practices with proven experience influencing commercial outcomes.

Strong leadership experience including previous experience leading a small team and proven ability to influence stakeholders.

Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a deadline‑driven workplace and to effectively manage challenges and changing priorities whilst still meeting team and corporate deadlines.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus and desire to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of professionals.

Desirable Criteria

Have obtained CPA or CA designation
