Group Financial Controller

Role This is an exciting opportunity to join Rent.com.au Limited as the Group Financial Controller. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will play a key role in overseeing the financial operations and reporting for the Rent.com.au group of companies.

What you'll be doing

Leading the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process for the group

Ensuring compliance with all relevant accounting standards, laws and regulations

Collaborating with the wider finance team to continuously improve financial processes and controls

Take charge of an

incoming ERP system , a key project for improving the reporting processes and creating timely and insightful support for strategic decision making

Supervising and developing the finance team with two direct reports and one indirect.

What we're looking for

Qualified accountant (CA or CPA) with 5+ years' post-qualification experience in a related role

Technical expertise of accounting standards, specifically AASB 9 for Financial Products

Experience in a senior financial control roles, ideally within Financial Services

Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Perth based applicants with Australia work rights for this position
