Coordinator Rates & Accounts

An established Local Council WA's fastest growing local governments based in North of river are seeking a dynamic and experienced Coordinator Rates Accounts to lead their Rates, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions within the Finance Service Unit.

About the Role

Lead and develop the Rates Accounts Sub Unit, fostering a positive and high‑performing team culture.

Oversee rates, accounts payable and receivable functions to ensure compliance, efficiency and excellent service delivery.

Drive business improvement, manage change and ensure alignment with the City's corporate objectives.

Engage with key stakeholders and provide expert advice to senior leaders.

Manage budgets, governance, compliance and risk within the Sub Unit.

About You

A tertiary qualification in business, commerce or related discipline.

Proven leadership experience in a similar role within a large, complex organisation.

Strong knowledge of financial legislation, systems and risk management.

Advanced communication, people management and problem‑solving skills.
