Board Treasurer

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from community-minded people who live on or near the Mornington Peninsula who wish to bring their experience, expertise and energy to the Board of our independent, locally-based busy community hub. These skills may be in the areas of finance, law or community development. Capel Sound Community Hub (previously Seawinds Community Hub) provides a range of activities, services and events for the community of Rosebud and surrounds. It encompasses a community house, early learning centre, social enterprise cafe and works closely with the onsite Men’s Shed. You may already have governance skills, but we are also looking for people who have a make-things-happen attitude which will help to create further success. This role carries no monetary rewards but we know that your knowledge and contribution will be rewarded by a real sense of achievement and personal satisfaction. Please understand that this is not a situation for someone who wants to add a directorship to their CV, rather than you feel you have the skills and some time to contribute.
