About the Centre
Aspire Early Education and Kindergarten Sunbury is NOW OPEN! Located within the new Everley Estate in Sunbury in Melbourne's north-west, our centre is surrounded by an array of walking paths, scenic lookouts, sporting facilities, and wetlands. It is also a 5-minute drive to Goonawarra Primary School, making it a convenient location for families who are seeking care.
The Opportunity & Responsibilities
Working closely with a team of educators and the Centre Manager, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining meaningful relationships with children, families, colleagues and the community. You will be responsible for developing and implementing an innovative early learning program, which will be reflective of current early years thinking and practices. As a Room Leader, you will be contributing to the implementation and adoption of the Aspire guidelines.
About you
Diploma in Children's services
or
ACECQA approved qualification
with proven experience in a similar role
Must be available to work rotating shifts between 6.30am and 6.30pm
Knowledge and understanding of Children's Services Regulations and National Quality Standards and EYLF
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Lead, inspire and motivate a team of educators
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care
Current Working with Children check, First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training, Food Handlers Certificate
