About the role
Join ACMI as a Senior Exhibitions Project Manager to lead the planning, delivery and management of logistical, design and experience aspects of a major temporary exhibition project, scheduled to open in mid 2027. The role is also responsible for project budget, milestones, reporting, stakeholder and contract management and providing advice to the Programme leadership team. This is a new full‑time fixed‑term role (until 31 August 2027) reporting to the Head of Exhibitions.
What you’ll bring to the role
Significant experience managing and leading the full lifecycle of projects to deliver high quality exhibitions at a range of scales. A strong interest in and/or knowledge of the exhibition of digital and moving image works is recommended.
Highly developed analytical and project management skills with the proven ability to monitor progress, manage competing priorities, adapt workloads, respond to changing circumstances and meet deadlines.
Strong stakeholder management skills including excellent communication, negotiation, engagement and interpersonal skills.
Experience providing high level expertise and specialist advice to manage complex issues, with the ability to proactively problem solve.
High level of understanding of OH&S policies, procedures, and processes plus your Construction Induction White Card.
