Release Manager (Hypercare)

The Client & Role : We're currently working with a major multi-national tech company, due to demand in their major unification program they are looking for a Release Manager to join on a contract term until mid Feb 2024.

As the Release Manager you will coordinate the various teams to facilitate the successful release of functionality into production for the client's Asia business units. Reporting to the Unification Release Manager, the focus will be to plan the activities required for each release and to execute the hypercare with the required teams.

Responsibilities :

Lead the hypercare management process and ensure a seamless delivery and execution.

Identify, monitor and actively manage risk, issues, assumptions, dependencies and decisions.

Design and develop the hypercare and transition plan.

Coordinate with the various program and project teams Salesforce, Workday, online, integration, data migration, reporting, go to market, business change, operations, etc).

Facilitate release readiness reviews with teams and stakeholders.

Manage hypercare and transition execution.

Provide regular status updates pre, during, post the cutover and hypercare periods.

Required Skills & Specialisms :

5+ years' experience in similar hypercare, release and / or project management roles in large complex transformations.

Ability to network, communicate, engage and influence colleagues and stakeholders at multiple levels, both technical and business.

Flexibility to work across different time zones, and lead hypercare out of normal business hours evenings or weekends).

Proven experience at co-ordinating cross-functional remote and distributed teams.

Excellent problem solving, judgement and decision-making skills.

Drive outcomes while dealing with ambiguity.

Builds trust, safety and inclusion in teams.

Experience in a similar role in a Salesforce, Workday or digital program or project.

Experience managing releases for multiple geographic locations.
