RSL Queensland (RSLQ)
is the largest ex-service organisation in Queensland – providing practical support, assistance and camaraderie to veterans, current serving Defence members, and their families across the state and nationally.
Reporting to the Service Delivery Training Lead, the Capability Partner develops and maintains organisational capability through resource development, training support, quality assurance, and policy oversight. This role is part of the Strategy & Service Enablement team. Accountabilities include (though are not limited to):
Developing, implementing and supporting projects and initiatives for improved and streamlined service delivery activities and enhanced operational effectiveness
Developing and maintaining high‑quality resources including guides, toolkits, and digital materials to strengthen Departmental capability.
Designing and delivering engaging training programs (all modes), ensuring content is relevant, practical, and aligned with strategic objectives; provide ongoing coaching and support to staff and stakeholders.
Ensuring all learning resources are accessible, user‑friendly, and aligned with service design principles, promoting inclusivity and ease of adoption, and more...
Qualifications
To be eligible for consideration, you'll offer:
Tertiary qualification in Organisational Development, or a closely related field (e.g. Grad Cert/Grad Dip or Bachelor level).
Demonstrated experience 3+ years in capability building and resource development.
Strong background in L&D or organisational capability.
Experience in policy development and quality assurance.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
Proven ability to scope requirements, assess provider quality, and manage deliverables with external training or capability partners.
Excellent interpersonal skills to work across different teams with competing interests and priorities and the ability to get things done in a high pressure, fast paced environment.
Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects, balance competing priorities, and navigate a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a focus on delivering value.
