Security Engineer (Short-term Contract)

New Contract Role: Security Engineer (3-Month Engagement) About the Company We are partnering with an ASX-listed organisation to support their IT and security operations during a period of transition. Our teams play a critical role in maintaining a strong security posture, ensuring systems and data remain protected, and enabling seamless business operations.

The Role We are seeking an experienced Security Engineer to join our team on a 3-month contract to backfill a recent departure while a permanent hire is recruited. This role will provide hands‑on support across key security platforms, with a strong focus on Netskope, alongside general business‑as‑usual security operations.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver and complete assigned Netskope work packages, including configuration, optimisation, and operational support

Assist with Proofpoint administration and related security tasks

Provide BAU security support, including monitoring and managing the security ticket queue

Troubleshoot and resolve security incidents and service requests within agreed SLAs

Work collaboratively with internal stakeholders to maintain security posture during the transition period

Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer where required

Required Skills & Experience

Strong, hands‑on experience with

Netskope

(essential)

Proofpoint

experience (email security, administration, or support)

Experience supporting enterprise security environments

Security Engineer BAU experience, including ticket queue handling.
