Required Skills & Experience

Strong expertise in

AWS services

(S3, Redshift, Glue, Lambda, etc.) and

SQL

skills.

Hands-on experience with

Apache Iceberg

and modern lakehouse + data warehouse architectures.

Data Modelling:

Proficiency in designing normalized and denormalized models, star/snowflake schemas, and data vault modelling. Familiarity with

ERWin

will be advantageous.

ETL/ELT Design:

Experience with data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks.

Performance Optimization:

Ability to design for scalability, query performance, and cost efficiency.

Metadata & Cataloging:

Familiarity with data catalog tools and lineage tracking.

Security & Compliance:

Knowledge of encryption, IAM, and regulatory requirements.

Cost Estimation:

Expertise in sizing and cost modelling for cloud-based solutions.

Excellent communication skills for working with distributed teams.
