About the Opportunity
We are seeking a
Senior Support Services Partner
to oversee the effective rostering and delivery of highโquality ancillary services at the
St Albans
facility. Those services include cleaning, laundry, food services and maintenance. Reporting to the Manager of Residential Care and working closely with the Reception/Administration Officer, you will coordinate these services in line with accreditation standards and foster a safe environment for residents and staff.
DayโtoโDay Responsibilities
Oversee daily operations of support services, maintaining efficiency and resolving emerging issues.
Provide information to care recipients, families and external providers about service availability and arrangements.
Assist with organising and documenting family meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes.
Manage ordering and invoicing systems, monitor facility expenses, handle petty cash and keep accurate financial records.
Implement accreditation standards, policies and procedures across cleaning, laundry, maintenance and food services to meet quality and compliance requirements.
Manage staff rostering, allocate resources appropriately, maintain budget adherence, and oversee employment terms and conditions.
Monitor workplace hazards, WHS compliance and practice, promoting a safe work environment.
Provide supervision, support and feedback to support workers and admin staff, ensuring mandatory training and development.
Participate in reviewing food services, maintaining food safety program compliance and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Maintain accurate records, including financial documentation, compliance reports and operational files, in alignment with organisational policies.
Complete followโup activities for scheduled and unscheduled maintenance.
What Success Looks Like for This Role
Business Management or Operations background, together with Food Safety Supervisor Certification (preferred).
Minimum 3 years experience in a similar role within an aged care or health care facility.
Experience or training in Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).
Proven experience in a highly regulated environment, maintaining compliance with service delivery and financial reporting standards.
Strong proficiency in digital tools, administrative systems and IT applications for efficient workflow management.
Knowledge of Office of Housing procedures and relevant legislation of public housing (preferred).
Current National Police Check required.
