About the Role We are seeking an experienced and people‑centred Head of Operations to lead strategic and day‑to‑day operations across all guest‑facing functions. As part of the Scenic World Leadership Team, you will uplift operational performance, develop our people, champion a culturally respectful approach and ensure Scenic World continues to deliver safe, memorable and meaningful experiences. You will also work collaboratively across the Hammons Holdings group to support shared learning, operational alignment and group-wide commercial outcomes. This role is ideal for the person who thrives in a fast‑paced tourism environment, inspires high performance and brings strong commercial and cultural awareness to their leadership. Key Responsibilities Lead a positive, safe, customer‑focused Operations culture. Develop and support high‑performing teams across all guest‑facing areas. Drive continuous improvement in service, safety and operational efficiency. Oversee daily operations, compliance, budgets and resourcing. Ensure brand‑aligned guest experiences through strong cross‑department collaboration. Contribute to strategy, planning and commercial performance across Retail, F&B and product development. Partner with the Indigenous Engagement Officer to support culturally authentic experiences. Support event delivery and organisational initiatives. Desired Skills and Experience

About You - Skills & Experience Tertiary qualification in business, frontline management or related discipline. Strong experience in the tourism industry. Proven senior leadership capability and experience leading large, diverse teams. Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and manage complex operational functions. Strong judgement, organisational capability and problem‑solving skills. Experience managing performance, workflows, resources and external consultants. Ability to identify opportunities and deliver effective, innovative initiatives. Advanced interpersonal, cross‑cultural communication and conflict resolution skills. Strong understanding of WHS and EEO principles. Training/experience in emergency response or warden responsibilities. Experience within attractions or high‑volume visitor environments. Knowledge of the Blue Mountains tourism landscape. Multilingual capability or strong multicultural awareness. Current First Aid certification. Other Requirements Australian/NZ citizenship, permanent residency or valid working visa. Police check and employment history checks may be conducted. Ability to travel between venues and interstate as needed. Availability to work outside standard hours, including weekends, when required.
