We’re seeking a smart, curious, and driven financial leader to join our journey as we scale manufacturing, achieve major clinical milestones, and reshape the future of joint replacement surgery.
The Opportunity
This is a unique opportunity to step into a high‑impact strategic finance role within a rapidly evolving MedTech organization. As the CEO’s key financial partner, you’ll transform complex data into clear, actionable insights, drive operational and commercial performance, develop go‑to‑market models in collaboration with a global team of subject‑matter experts, and ensure long‑term financial sustainability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting and modelling
Prepare board‑ready reports and dashboards that inform strategic decisions
Support capital raising, investor relations, and funding strategy
Drive financial systems optimisation and process improvements
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams
Strong understanding of the AASB framework and/or the Australian regulatory environment
Prior experience in a finance function or leading a large complex finance project
Qualifications
Comprehensive knowledge of Financial Statements and Financial Reporting
Strong proficiency in Analytical Skills and Finance
Experience with Budgeting and financial planning
Exceptional organisational and leadership abilities
Proficiency in financial management software and tools
Strong understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements in the medical industry is a plus
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; (CA/CPA qualified.
About You
Minimum 5 years’ experience in finance roles, ideally within MedTech, innovation or consulting sectors
Dedicated, detail‑focused team player driven to make a meaningful impact
Proven ability to engage with executive and board‑level stakeholders
Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
Comfortable navigating ambiguity and scaling systems in growth‑phase organisations
Prior experience in Big Four financial consulting, R&D tax incentives, or audit and financial reporting
