Process-Driven, People-Focused Recruitment Professional | End-to-End Recruitment Coordination | Candidate Experience Advocate Lead a dispersed recruitment team. Build a proactive business-led talent engine.

This isnโ€™t a โ€œkeep the lights onโ€ recruitment role. Itโ€™s a national mandate to lift capability, redesign ways of working, and move a high-volume Talent function from reactive firefighting to proactive, insight-led workforce planning.

Youโ€™ll be leading a geographically dispersed team of Talent Partners who support multiple business units and complex hiring portfolios. Your work will directly influence operational readiness across a large, essential-services workforce.

The role Sitting at the centre of a pod-based Talent model, you will connect recruitment delivery with operational leaders, HR and offshore support. The focus is on clarity, consistency, and proactive planning that aligns talent supply with business needs.

You will make your mark by

Leading, coaching and developing a distributed team of Talent Partners with clear expectations and consistent delivery

Embedding a proactive, business-driven recruitment model that uses forecasts, rosters and turnover insights to stay ahead of demand

Building warm talent pools and site-ready pipelines for high turnover and hard-to-fill roles

Designing simple and effective recruitment frameworks that support focus, specialisation and accountability

Partnering with operational leaders across regions to convert business needs into practical workforce plans

Driving process improvement even in an imperfect tech environment and contributing to ATS and workflow optimisation

Creating clarity and connection across pods, states and offshore partners so the team moves in sync

About you You are a calm and commercially minded leader with experience in high-volume and multi-site environments. You know how to bring order to complexity and how to lift performance through people, process and planning.

You will bring

Leadership experience across remote or multi-site talent teams

Confidence influencing senior leaders

A track record of improving recruitment effectiveness through workflow redesign, process optimisation and capability uplift

Strong judgement, clear communication and reliable follow-through

A balanced blend of data curiosity, process discipline and genuine care for people

A solutions-focused approach that delivers progress without chasing perfection
