Finance Business Partner – Supply Chain

to join our Finance team and play a critical role in shaping the commercial performance of our Supply Chain function. As the Finance Business Partner – Supply Chain, you will work closely with Supply Chain leaders to deliver high‑quality commercial analysis, performance insights, and financial guidance. Your work will directly support strategic and operational decision‑making across the business. You will:

Provide commercial analysis and insights that help the Supply Chain team drive improved financial outcomes.

Deliver recurring and ad‑hoc reporting, ensuring insights are clear, actionable, and aligned to business needs.

Partner with Supply Chain leaders to identify financial risks and opportunities, and co‑create action plans to address or maximise them

Lead the preparation of annual budgets and rolling forecasts, ensuring all assumptions are robust and well‑supported.

Support investment decisions by developing commercial assumptions and ensuring approved outcomes are reflected in forward financial plans

Manage support office cost forecasts and ensure people‑related costs are accurately allocated

Work cross‑functionally with Finance, Supply Chain leadership and Officeworks stakeholders to deliver meaningful, high‑quality commercial support.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded finance professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about turning financial data into strategic business impact.

This is a 12 months fixed term contract opportunity.

About you You’re a proactive, insight‑driven finance professional with the ability to simplify complexity and tell the story behind the numbers. You bring strong stakeholder skills and enjoy collaborating with operational teams. You will also bring:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in commercial finance roles

Experience in retail industry is highly desirable but not essential

Experience supporting supply chain in a finance capacity is essential

CA/CPA qualification, highly desirable

Exceptional modelling and systems capability, with the ability to convert complex datasets into clear insights.

Strong commercial and business acumen, with the ability to navigate ambiguity and form sound hypotheses.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to distil complex information into concise recommendations.

High attention to detail, strong planning and organisational capability, and the ability to manage deadlines under pressure.

Ability to collaborate effectively, challenge the status quo, and identify opportunities for process or commercial improvement.

Confidence in engaging with diverse stakeholders and influencing outcomes.

Experience with Power BI/Tableau or SAP BW (advantageous).
