Senior Estimator

Bennco Group is seeking an experienced

Senior Estimator

to estimate and tender on mining construction works across the Pilbara and remote WA.

Role Requirements

Experience managing the tender process from preparation, analysis, submission and clarifications.

Prepare detailed and competitive tender estimates, budgets, cost plans, and take-offs.

Collaborate with design teams, clients, and delivery teams to ensure tender alignment across all project phases.

Ensure effective handover of awarded tenders to Operations and ongoing communication with clients.

Proven experience in tendering and estimating for mining, building, and construction projects.

Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Identify and manage cost-specific risks, opportunities, and value management strategies.

Strong understanding of construction methodologies and WA market rates.

Strong subcontractor and supplier engagement skills.

High level of commercial acumen and contract knowledge.

About You

Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or related field (preferred).

Minimum 5 years senior‑level estimating experience within the construction sector.

Strong understanding of construction techniques and market conditions.

Proficiency in estimating software such as Simpro, Procore, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Project.

Proficiency in client platforms such as Ariba, Aconex & EstimateOne.

Exceptional communication, time management and problem‑solving skills.

Proven ability to ‘think outside the box' and deliver results in high‑pressure environments and work both autonomously and collaboratively.
