Autonomy to shape your approach – You\'ll have the freedom to implement commercial systems architecture, training programs, and risk management frameworks that work for this business, not follow rigid corporate templates Direct influence on business outcomes – With direct access to Senior Leadership Team, your advice will shape project strategy and commercial decisions A teaching and guiding platform – You\'ll design and deliver workshops, give insight to Operations and Project Managers, and build commercial capability across the organisation rather than being the bottleneck for every legal question Variety and strategic involvement – From tender reviews to BCIPA claims, joint venture agreements to contract negotiations, resolving legal matters in other areas such as safety, environment, and the like, you\'ll have a diverse portfolio of commercial engagements to keep you energised Why You Will Like Working Here

Bringing a commercial practical view to managing contract risk. You\'ll develop and deliver workshops, coaching construction and project management teams to read contracts through a commercial lens and build proactive risk management capability. You\'ll work closely with cross-functional teams to assess risks, and ensure everyone understands what they\'re committing to before projects begin. Be a sounding board for contractual concerns, helping teams navigate challenges before they escalate into formal disputes. Drive continuous improvement of commercial processes and systems, creating frameworks that help commercial roles across the division work more efficiently while maintaining the company\'s strong safety and quality standards. What Type of Person Will Be Successful

You\'re an experienced construction lawyer wanting meaningful commercial impact. You get energised by teaching others and seeing them apply what you\'ve taught. You have the commercial judgment to prioritise what truly matters and the communication skills to make complex legal concepts accessible. You\'re naturally approachable and enjoy building relationships across different parts of a business.
