Opportunity Overview We’re looking for an experienced

Building Certifier – Team Leader

to guide and support a growing certification team within a well‑established, family‑focused organisation.

With a healthy pipeline of projects and a commitment to quality outcomes, this role offers the chance to lead with purpose, mentor and develop certifiers, and shape a focused & collaborative team culture.

About you

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a qualified Level 2 Building Certifier

A strong client‑service mindset and commitment to delivering considered results

Proven ability to self‑manage, prioritise, and meet realistic certification deadlines

A proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement of team

A collaborative attitude with a genuine interest in team success

About the role As Team Leader, you will:

Lead and support a team of 4-6 colleagues

Fostering a collaborative and accountable culture

Communicate confidently yet kindly with clients, certifiers, and administrative staff

Stay informed on updates to the BCA, NCC, and Department of Public Works & Housing

Balance hands‑on certification work with leadership & coaching

Identify workflow gaps and implement practical solutions

Conduct desktop assessments and allocate work across the team

Review projects and prepare competitive, accurate quotes

Mentor team members and actively share technical and learnt knowledge

Facilitate weekly sessions on regulatory changes and industry developments

Qualifications / Licences

Member of AIBS / RICS or equivalent

Diploma of Building Certification

White card & current driver’s licence
