What are we looking for?
Our Work and Road team is growing, and we are now seeking a Lawyer/Associate with 3+ years PAE to join our Bendigo team. This is a full time, permanent role and flexible work arrangements will be considered. Your energy and drive will be integral in achieving successful outcomes along with your positive approach to your work. This is an opportunity for an experienced Lawyer to work with some incredibly talented and likeminded team members. Critical to the role will be forging strong links with internal and external stakeholders.
Some of the key responsibilities will include:
Management of a Work and Road practice
Provide clear, practical and concise legal and commercial advice
Providing a tailored approach to clients to understand the context of their matter
Identifying practical and innovative solutions for clients
Maintain and build new client relationships for the practice
Providing exceptional service to clients
What will you bring?
Working within a collegiate and highly regarded team, the successful candidate will be a committed and enthusiastic individual who possesses the following:
Previous practising experience in personal injury law with a passion for Work and Road Law
Outstanding communication & interpersonal skills
Exceptional negotiation skills and an ability to communicate effectively and compassionately
Demonstrated skills in effective network and relationship management
Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment
Ability to listen to, and empathise with clients and their families
Ability to exercise judgement & resolve problems expeditiously & satisfactorily
Superior organisational skills
