Head of Operations

Lead and manage the company’s operational and financial performance, ensuring efficiency, profitability, and compliance.

Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and commercial analysis in collaboration with the Directors.

Develop and implement operational processes, systems, and controls to support scalable growth.

Provide strategic leadership across delivery, finance, HR, and administration functions.

Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of accountability, commerciality and high performance.

Oversee project governance and reporting, ensuring visibility on margins, productivity, and cash flow.

Drive continuous improvement in business systems, reporting, and client service delivery.

Support business development, supplier negotiations, and strategic partnerships.

Act as a trusted advisor to the Directors on commercial, financial, and operational matters.

About You

You are a strategic and commercially minded leader who thrives in a dynamic, growing business. You combine strong financial literacy with operational acumen and have a genuine passion for building structure, efficiency, and accountability.

You will bring:

Proven experience in a finance, operations, or general management role (ideally within property, construction, or professional services).

Strong understanding of budgeting, P&L management, and financial reporting.

Demonstrated ability to implement systems, processes, and performance frameworks in a growing business.

Excellent leadership and communication skills—able to influence, mentor, and collaborate across all levels.

High attention to detail with the ability to manage both strategy and execution.

Accounting qualification or similar (highly regarded but not essential).
