Head of Health and Safety

CS Energy is seeking a senior Health & Safety leader to shape the next phase of safety maturity across a complex, high-risk energy business. This role offers genuine influence at an enterprise level, with the mandate to strengthen capability, operating discipline and leadership accountability across the organisation.

This opportunity will appeal to an established safety executive who is motivated by impact, legacy and the opportunity to lead meaningful cultural change, transformation, and shifting the status quo.

Opportunity Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and working as part of CS Energy’s senior leadership team, you will provide strategic direction and expert guidance across health, safety and wellbeing, while remaining closely connected to operational risk through visible, on‑site leadership. CS Energy is expanding its safety approach, building upon existing compliance practices with a stronger focus on capability and proactive leadership, creating space for a leader who can lift the quality, consistency and effectiveness of safety practice across the business.

You will lead a multi‑site Health & Safety team across Queensland and partner closely with executives, site leaders and key stakeholders to embed practical, values‑driven safety that supports both people and performance.

Your Background You will bring senior leadership experience from a high‑risk, high‑consequence environment, with a track record of improving safety performance through influence, credibility and clear expectations. You are comfortable operating at executive level while maintaining a strong operational presence, and you lead with calm authority, resilience and integrity.
