General Manager, Geology & Resource Strategy

Role Overview Join a tight‑knit A‑team working directly with a CEO, a Group Mining Engineer and a Principal – Mining Investments & Development to shape the geological intelligence behind a rapidly expanding mining investment group. This is a senior, influential role that sits at the intersection of geology, strategy and commercial decision‑making.

Responsibilities

Senior technical‑commercial role working directly with the CEO and executive team.

Shape investment decisions through high‑quality geological evaluation.

Lead the evaluation of geological opportunities across the portfolio – reviewing targets, assessing resources and reserves, supporting due diligence on acquisitions and partnerships, and providing the technical insight that informs major investment decisions.

Oversee exploration governance and compliance work and ensure that geological risk is clearly communicated in commercial language to support decision quality.

Guide geological decisions, shape investment choices and influence the growth of the group.

Backed by long‑term institutional capital, the organisation is assembling a multi‑stream mining platform in Western Australia with operating assets, regional growth opportunities and a clear plan to reinvest cashflow into resource expansion, commercial partnerships and strategic acquisitions.

Oversee and elevate a small geology team while remaining actively engaged in the technical work yourself.

Ensure the geological intelligence supports the group's long‑term direction.

Qualifications & Experience This role suits a senior gold geologist who has progressed beyond pure exploration into the strategic, evaluative and commercial side of the discipline. The ideal candidate enjoys contributing and influencing at senior level, combining technical confidence with commercial thinking, and contributing materially to a growing organisation’s long‑term direction.
