About you

Your key duties and tasks

Flying a Cessna 172

Follow safe operating procedures

Checking stock watering points

Flying to local township for supplies and parts for the station

Seasonally checking for grass fires across the station

Cleaning of aircraft and hanger

General station work or maintenance when not flying

What you will need

Commercial Pilot Licence (Fixed Wing)

Cessna 172 experience

Operate in controlled airspace with a current ASIC Card (Red)

Current Medical

Current and valid driver's licence (manual)

Live and work on a remote cattle station

Willingness to carry out other station roles when not flying

*All licences and medicals must be current

Preferable, but not essential

300TT (minimum hours)

Low Level Rating (Aeroplane)

Single air‑conditioned accommodation with shared facilities (bathroom and laundry)

Fare reimbursement to the station (after completing probation)

Seven (7) weeks Annual Leave for each year of work

Physical Demands

This is a physically demanding job that includes both indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather and temperature environments. You will be expected to be able to walk, climb, bend, kneel, lift, grip, grasp, push and pull various tools and equipment. You will need the ability to frequently lift, push and pull from 5‑10‑20 kilo's and occasionally more. This job will require the ability to ascend/descend ladders.
