Undergraduate - Corporate Tax

Position Summary This position will have a heavy learning and development focus whilst assisting senior members of the division.

Key Responsibilities

Develop an understanding of the following concepts; Assessable Income, Allowable Deductions, Capital Allowances, Capital Gains Tax, Loss Provisions, Goods and Service Tax, and Fringe Benefits;

Ability to undertake less complex tax areas and tax procedures;

Communicate with the ATO, including resolving administrative issues and handling general ATO queries;

Collaborate with the team to deliver taxation services, including preparation and/or review of corporate income tax returns and assistance with tax accounting calculations;

Support the team in addressing international tax issues, including research and analysis of cross-border tax matters and the drafting of transfer pricing policies.

Education Requirements

Studying Business / Commerce / Finance degree with Accounting Major

Currently undertaking study - penultimate year ideally

Business / Commerce / Finance / Law double degree with Accounting Major

Experience & Attributes

Strong Communication Skills

Strong attention to detail

Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team

Intent to commence CA and complete one Tax Institute Module
